Haringey GP Federation shortlisted for the 2022 HSJ Awards
Haringey GP Federation is proud to reveal that it has been shortlisted for the Primary and Community Care Provider of the Year at this year’s HSJ Awards, recognising outstanding contribution to healthcare and earning the opportunity to showcase achievements on a national platform.
Arguably the most coveted accolade in UK healthcare, the HSJ awards is the largest annual benchmarking and recognition programme for the health sector. Over the last 40 years the awards have been celebrating healthcare excellence through huge political, technological and financial challenges within the sector. Through a rigorous, fair and transparent judging process the awards produce a roll call of the best organisations, teams and people in the NHS and the wider health sector.
Following the thorough judging process, Haringey GP Federation was shortlisted, ahead of the official awards ceremony to be held later this year (November 17th). Despite the tough competition, Haringey GP Federation stood out as a ‘success story’ worthy of a prized place on the panel’s shortlist. More than 1,060 entries were received for the HSJ Awards 2022.
Cassie Williams, Chief Executive, Haringey GP Federation said: “We are delighted that our work with and on behalf of General Practice in Haringey has been recognised in the HSJ Awards 2022. Aligning with the HSJ Awards programme provides us with an opportunity to demonstrate how our collaborative approach with system partners and our member practices is improving health outcomes and addressing health inequalities for the diverse patient population that we serve together”.
HSJ editor Alastair McLellan, adds; “On behalf of all my colleagues, it gives me great pleasure to congratulate Haringey GP Federation on being shortlisted as a finalist in the category of Primary and Community Care Provider of the Year. All of the applications represent the ‘very best of the NHS’ and often leave our esteemed panel of judges with an impossible choice!"
