GP Patient Survey 2024 – great results for our practices
Haringey GP Federation works with and on behalf of all Haringey general practices.
We also have specific responsibility for the management of two practices in the borough: Charlton House Medical Practice and the 157 Medical Practice.
Since taking on these practices, we have prioritised patient experience and patient safety by ensuring strong clinical leadership is in place, underpinned by robust working practices.
Teams at both practices have worked incredibly hard to build on what they already did well by embracing change and new ways of working.
We were therefore delighted to see the results of the 2024 GP Patient Survey which show that this work is yielding great results, with good patient experience reported at both practices.
In fact, at Charlton House Medical Practice 91% of patients rated their experience as good or very good, placing the Tottenham-based practice considerably above national results. Charlton House also excelled compared to the national picture in other key areas such as helpfulness of reception and administrative teams (98%) and good overall experience of contacting the practice (84%).
The 157 Medical Practice in Stroud Green also returned results above the national average in both these areas. Additionally, measures for ease of contacting the 157 Medical Practice by phone and via the website achieved significantly above the national picture at 73% and 61% respectively.
When it comes to clinical care, both practices reported strongly for ‘healthcare professionals treat patients with care and concern’.
We are now analysing the full detail of the results for both practices to identify areas for further improvement, to ensure a positive experience for all our patients.
